Knitted elastic retains shape and stays flat when stretched. It is a quality elastic for use with all types of fabrics. This light-weight, knitted elastic is similar to braided elastic but does not narrow when stretched. Can be used on the outside of garments (linen, lingerie, blouses, etc.) as well as in casings. No Roll elastic maintains its width when stretched. Works well when pierced by needles so it is a good choice for sew-on application as well as in casings. No roll woven elastic tends to be firmer so can be used with heavier weight fabric and is great for keeping a waistband in place without rolling.
